London, 1888

Sheila Watson, the daughter of the now-retired Dr. John Watson, has inherited her father’s keen mind and investigative skills. After the tragic death of his longtime partner, Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Watson stepped away from detective work. However, Sheila, having studied medicine under her father in secret—since women weren't allowed formal medical education at the time—was also fascinated by the cases of Holmes and Watson. She poured over every file, mastering the art of deduction.

Now, with the gruesome murder of Mary Ann "Polly" Nichols on Friday, August 31st, in Buck's Row, Whitechapel, Sheila realizes it’s time to step out of her father's shadow. She is determined to catch the killer before more innocent lives are taken.

Immerse yourself in a dark, fictional horror story inspired by the infamous real-life events of Jack the Ripper’s reign of terror in Victorian London.

Thanks for this reminder what halloween is about: gore and adventure.

Oh, I have another question: So the game has been made with Unity. Did you use any additional tools/frameworks for realizing this type of gameplay or did you program it all by yourself? I've played the WebGL version btw and haven't tried the downloadable yet.

Yes, I used Adventure Creator. The only Adventure Game I've programmed from zero was Full Fathom Five.

Awesome! It is really cool to see what different kinds of games one can create with the help of such tools. I used that as well for my last game and really enjoyed it.

Yes, I know. I saw TigerJ playing your game. You should definitely participate to the Adventure Game Jam next year.

This game is so good bruh

Thank you, bro!

Really good. Voice acting was amazing and the story was great. Your art assets were superb! Btw there is a bug in the end where I can click the bottle over and over to keep the fight going forever.

Thank you, oh you that can't be named, I'll check the bug!

I really liked this, the story was solid, the gore was aplenty, the voice acting was decent, and the point & click aspect of the game was on point (no pun intended).

I realised once I'd finished the game that my resolution made the font super tiny and it wasn't actually meant to be like that but it didn't take away from the enjoyment.

Really good job!!

Thanks for playing!

Great game! The art gives The Last Door vibes but with its own Victorian twist. The voice acting is fantastic! I hadn't planned to play for so long, but it drew me in.

I love it! (It didn't run on w11 but it did in w8 compatibility mode.)

The .exe didn't work on Win11? Did it give any error message?

The game started but only until the warning screen. The menu didn't load.

I have Windows 11 and it is working for me. I found this conversation, it looks like the same issue: https://discussions.unity.com/t/strange-issue-with-game-build-for-windows-11/921... It may be firewall related, maybe?

I've tried in normal mode and it works fine now...

I just stumbled upon your game and I am absolutely in awe! I have just started playing and the mood and voiceover is fantastic. How long have y'all worked on this?

7 days! All day, all night basically.
